1. Review Week 3 vocabulary and definition
2. Imperative and exclamatory sentences, RWN p54.
3. Long a and i, and vocabulary meaning on RWN p55
- ay = long a (spray / dismay (n. disappointment )
- ai = long a (bait (n. sth used to trap sth) I used a piece of cheese as th bait to trap mice.
+ed to make the verb into PAST TENSE
+ing to make the verb CONTINUOUS TENSE
2 things to pay attention to:
- base verb ends with "e": ( face -- facing / faced)
- base verb has only 1 vowel in the second last place: (get -- getting / shop -- shopped)
Adjective with +ing and +ed ending
