Today's lesson
1. Vowel diphthongs :
"ou, ow" sounds as in "out / proud", and "owl, towel"
"oi, oy" sounds as in "oil / soil" and "toy/ enjoy". "oy" is usually at the end of a word, exception: "oyster/ Joyce"
2. Context clues and multiple-meaning words on RWN p.80.
