Reviewed worksheet mistake:      Adding ending to the base word : ed, ing, er, est     Reminder:  +er when you see the key word "than" after the word.      Eg: I am (fat)__fatter____ than  my sister.                +ing  when you see the key word "the" before the word.             I am  the  (long) _long___ student in the class.                +ing when you see the ("verb to be: be/ am/ is/ are/ was/ were )             I  am  (leave) __leaving______ in a minute.              He will  be  (play) ___playing______ baseball.              +ed when the word is used as an adjective to show a feeling after  the ("verb to be: be/ am/ is/ are/ was/ were )                  He  was worried   about his exam.                  She  is pleased   with the result.   2. "oy" is usually at the end of a word, exception: "oyster/ Joyce"  2. Context clues and multiple-meaning words on RWN p.80.  3.
