1. Imperative (command/ order) and exclamatory (exclamation) sentences.
*imperative sentence: begins with a VERB or with the word "Please + a VERB"
example: Open the door.
Please close the window.
*exclamatory sentence: show a feeling /emotion,contains an ADJECTIVE and an exclamation mark !.
example: This is a huge dog!
What a great party!
Pay attention to below:
What a fabulous supermarket! vs What is a fabulous supermarket?
imperative interrogative
2. Review all 4 types of sentences:
declarative = statement
interrogative=questoin
imperative = command
exclamatory = exclamation
3. Review and watch the Reading contest poem: A World of Your Own
