 Today's lesson:

1. Review Week 1 and Week 2 vocabulary pg. 44 -45

2. New vocabulary Week 2 #7-24 

3. RWN pg. 294 

4. Phonics : C+le 

    "le" is a schwa sound. It blends with the C (consonant) in front of it. 

     ble , dle, gle, kle, ple, tle, zle 

    Open word has a long sound, as in:  maple (long "a")

    Closed word has a short sound, as in : bubble ( short "u")

We will practice more tomorrow. 

Homework: 

1. Copy Week 2 #7-15 x 1, definition x 1 

2. RWN pg289 (those who have finished in class, handed in their RWN already. They did good.)
