1. Pie chart: A pie chart is a circular graph used to show how parts make up a whole. Each slice of the “pie” represents a category, and the size of the slice shows how much of the total it takes up.

Key Learning Points:

• A full circle = 100% or 1 whole

• Each slice shows a part of the data

• The larger the slice, the more it represents

2. population = the total amount of people; majority = the largest group; minority = the smallest group
