1. Reading Street story: What Jo did? p.178-187

2. RWN p.111-113

    Plurals or verbs by adding +s/ es/ ies : 

    words with these ending:s/ss/o/ch/sh/x/z, +es 

      examples: boss/bosses; bunch/bunches ; sandwich/sandwiches

    words end with y: omit "y" + ies except if there is 1 vowel (a/e/i/o/u) in the second last letter, just +s 

       city/ cities ; monkey/monkeys

  

     Common nouns vs Proper nouns are names of people/places /things. Proper nouns come with an uppercase letter (big letter) at the beginning.

3. Homework:  students will research about a famous person for their 2nd writing assignment.
