Today's lesson
1. Review words with long "u" sounds that can be spelled as "oo/u/ui/ew".
*put is not long u!
2. Review suffix: -ist (noun - a person) / -ive (adjective)
3. Complex sentences with "since/ because, if, when, before and after".
the reason/cause always goes with "since/ because".
if vs will, they never stay in 1 clause:
example: If the weather is nice, I will go swimming.
I will go swimming if the weather is nice.
4. Review VW and definition for tomorrow's quiz.
5. Midterm exam scope is attached to Communication Book.
