Today's lesson
1. Unit Test paper review and correction.
- definition that starts with "to....." is a VERB
- common spelling mistakes in the test: spirit vs separate, dollars not dollers, squirrel
2. Long "e" can be spelled "ey / y/ ie"
examples:
- jury ~ the group of people who attend, listen and then decide if a suspect/defendant is quilty or not in the court.
- alley ~ a narrow road or path between buildings
- collie ~ a type of dog with long hair
- breezy ~ chilly or a little windy
