1. Phonics: the sound like "ball" can be written in "a/ au/ aw/ al/ augh/ ough"
au - usually in the beginning or in the middle, as in "author/ autumn/
aw - usually at end as in "law/straw" but it can go in front of the letters "l / n" like: "shawl/ lawn"

6. Adverbs can tell about "when", "where" and "how".
some key words for "when": now, then, next, finally, always, usually, often, sometime, never"
some key words for "where": outside, inside, here, there
"how" usually end with "ly" like : happily, noisily, hungrily
