1. Review phonics 

     vowel sounds as in moon that can be spelled as:oo/ew/ue/ue

     vowel sounds as in moon that can be spelled as:oo/ u 

      the following words DO NOT have vowel sounds as in moon/foot: 

         build / guilty / button / butter / but 


2.  Capitalization: 1)beginning of a sentence 2)proper nouns: name of a person/place/building/country

3.  Fact and Opinion

  •      Fact can be supported / proved. 

     example: Mount Everest is the tallest mountain above sea level. 

  •       Opinion tells about an idea or feeling.

     example: I think the Himalayas are the most beautiful.

G4 summer holiday homework is given.        This year, students will do a PPT similar to the winter vacation homework, but the presentation should have a bit more feeling and some story telling which is linked to previous oral exams.   Please save it onto a USB and give to the new homeroom teachers to save for the first experience class of the new semester.  If you use ‘Canva’ you will need to remember the log in to set up for the experience class, or save the link onto a USB.   ·         You need to create a PPT consisting of 6-10 slides, no more or less. ·         One picture minimum per slide and some text explaining the picture.
