    Topic: what a piece of writing is about 

    Supporting details: extra information to tell more about the main idea

    for example: our writing assignment 

     Topic~ (Mount Fuji in Japan)  A world's famous landmark 

     Main idea ~ Mount Fuji is the most famous mountain in Japan 

     Supporting details ~ it is an active volcano, it is 3770m tall, it is in the city of Tokyo, etc. 

     


  

    

3. Personal narrative: tells about a personal experience, use the word "I/My", on RWN p.329


4. Study for tomorrow's vocab quiz.
